INTRODUCTION
Goa is divided into North and South, North being famous about the parties and south being the region
where people go to unwind and relax in an opposite direction from the party scenes of the North. Later
on, I would like to give you an incredible guidance about South Goa. Even if I personally invested more
energy and time in the north, I will still adhere my trip to the southern region of Goa.
THE BASICS
In Goa they mostly use Konkani language. The currency used here is rupees. Goa’s airport is very well-
maintained, that also has some international terminals.
FOOD
There is nothing more essential than food in Goa, as it is a coastal area. One of the most famous
restaurants in Goa is Sri, a prominent little spot in Vagator where everybody from local people to
celebrities visits to try its delicious food. Without any doubts Goa is popular for its food, yet the
backgrounds of this place are extremely vivid. Also there is a charming little place in Assagao called
Vinayak which you will pass on your way to Villa Blanche. It is a local spot that is primarily known for its
delicious curries. I personally adore their garlic butter prawns. While staying in Goa you have to
substitute tea with sweet lime soft drink, normal snacks like lime sprinkled natural corn, and grabbing
road snacks like Israeli style shwarmas, Goan samosas, and Goan sausages. You can also try local
inexpensive fish curry rice or chicken xacuti, which is a coconut curry. The local drink of Goa is cashew
feni, and the local bread is Pao. These buns are an ideal choice for sandwiches due to their fresh and soft
YOGA LAND
A lot of individuals come here to practice yoga. You can opt to practice yoga exercises near a shoreline
or in case if you are really good at yoga you can even teach people and start delivering training for yoga.
OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES
You can go for whitewater rafting, climbing/hiking, waterfall chasing, paragliding, SUP, kite-surfing, or
you can even travel to the South of Goa to enjoy elephant riding. Obviously you require time to enjoy on
shorelines too. There are dolphin boat trips, river houseboats, Tai Chi, Yoga everywhere, and Silks and
dance at Tito's White house.
SHORELINES
My most loved shoreline is Vagator, which is a beautiful combination of three shorelines. People enjoy
going there for a shoreline shack lunch or a decent Greek lunch at Thalassa. You can even take your dogs
there for a swim on Ozram shoreline regularly, the smallest piece of Vagator shoreline.
Anjuna shoreline is the most crowded beach amongst all of the beaches of Goa. During the evening this
shoreline wakes up with daze parties. You can get 30 minute foot massages near shorelines for at Rs 200
only.
Keri beach in the North Goa is a flawless beach and people refer it as the best beach of Goa. A lot of
shacks on this beach serve fresh and delicious seafood. People really enjoy food on this beach with its
beauty and serenity.
Arambol beach is the place where you will discover little shoreline parties. Here's a manual for Arambol;
Mandrem/Morjim and Ashwem are decent shorelines and I like to go there on Sundays for lunch and to
relax.
Goa has the best market in India, if not in the entire world. People visit Goa to purchase a lot of items
including ornaments, handicrafts, clothes, footwears, and many more.
The two greatest markets are just open in season that is at end of October through March-April. Anjuna
Flea Market: A Hippie's Paradise and Ashwem Boutique Gems. You cannot miss listing these places to
Goa is the place where people only love to stay in the hotels and resorts that are near the shorelines.
Shacks are ordinarily non A/C places to eat where people actually love to enjoy food from different
cuisines. On the off chance if you are going in the peak season of Goa that is December and January you
have to book your hotels or resorts in much advance.
NIGHTLIFE
Goa is known as the land of night parties, and most likely known as the trance capital of the world.
These are some famous Psytrance parties in Goa, for example: Shiva Valley, Disco Valley, Hillop, Club 9,
Westend, and Curlies. In addition to all this there are some Techno/less trance like clubs: Teso,
Chronicle, Terrace, Waters, Katzensuppe, Bardo, Guru, Marbela, Sunset Ashram, UV Bar, and Bubble
Brunch. These are the clubs that I adore going to and enjoying the thrilling night life.
Clubs: There are a large number of clubs in North Goa. In Arpora there is a Club named Cubana.
However, on Wednesday, it's a women’s night only (otherwise known as free) at Cubana and I enjoyed
partying there a lot. They are strict at the entryway on who enters the club so you can go and drink
without having any issues from men.
SPECIAL TIPS
You should not miss the salons, spas and massage parlors of Goa. People specially visit Goa to loosen up
